Water’s Edge is in Greely, a rural village in the city of Ottawa, Ontario. Situated just southeast of Bank and Parkway Road, our community is a collection of unique custom built homes on 1/2 acre lots. Water’s Edge isn’t just a neighbourhood but a community. Our community is home to many retirees and also many families with young children and teens. Through the Water’s Edge Owners Association (WEOA), we regularly come together for community events like meeting Santa Claus, outdoor movie nights, BBQs, and community volleyball and soccer nights.

The amenities you will find within the community include:
– lake access for all residents
– community beach
– beach volleyball court
– community gazebo
– picnic tables
– dock with canoe and paddle boat
– 2 acre recreational lot at the corner of Parkway Road and Sale Barn Road

The community lake is a storm water management pond that is 37.5 times bigger than needed so that it can be used recreationally. Residents chose to swim and paddle their kayaks and paddle boards in the lake in the summer. (The WEOA does monthly testing of the lake water for E. Coli, coliforms, nitrates, and phosphates.) Community members often carve our skating rinks and paths when the ice is thick enough in the winter. (The ice is not monitored by the WEOA, do not go on the ice in the winter unless you can confirm the ice thickness yourself).
**All use of the lake is at your own risk and not endorsed by the Water’s Edge Owners Association.**

Water’s Edge is located next door to the Greely Village Park, giving residents easy access to tennis courts, a basket ball court, soccer field, playground, BMX bike track, skate park and walking trails, including a walking path around a pond.

Water’s Edge is within walking distance to Foodland grocery store, two dental clinics, a medical clinic, a physiotherapy centre, an optometrist, two pharmacies, a law office, PetValu, a veterinarian, Dolllarama, A&W, and Pizza Hut.
